Type & Source Nationwide compilation of bus stop locations collected for most Chinese cities in 2013, used by the BCL team to estimate bus service coverage. Use Case This dataset was used to calculate the bus coverage ratio for each city—an important indicator in the Ministry of Transport’s “Transit Metropolis” (公交都市) initiative. The ratio is computed by dividing the area of urban land covered by bus service zones by the total urban area of the city. Citation Li, M., & Long, Y.
