Yichun 8 seconds
Yichun is a prefecture-level city in the forested interior of northeast China. Its central urban area and scattered towns form a spatial and social system shaped by resource transition, population change and everyday adaptation.
This series uses eight-second exposures to record Yichun’s material spaces and social life. Blurred figures are not an absence; they condense fleeting everyday activity into observable urban evidence.
